Our Aims
Nurturing and Therapeutic Learning
The Learning Farm is a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment located at Little Snodworth Farm, Snodworth Road, Lancashire, UK.
The Learning Farm is a peaceful place in the countryside where loved pets and
wildlife share a space and live secure, consistent, happy lives.
Our aim is to share this experience and offer early intervention for Children and Young People, providing a safe and supportive place for those struggling to engage in life.
At the farm we encourage kindness, calmness and happiness; providing activities and
experiences where we can re-engage through alternative learning, building
confidence, and developing the skills needed to build a more positive future.

Sessions include grooming, stable care, and gentle ground-based activities designed to develop trust, communication, and emotional regulation. No riding involved – just meaningful connection, therapeutic support, and a safe environment to grow. Children will also reconnect with the natural world with some sessions set in beautiful woodlands and outdoor spaces. Children may explore local habitats, track wildlife, build shelters, learn about trees and plants, and develop a deep respect for the environment through hands-on activities. With a focus on curiosity, sensory experiences, and outdoor play, this programme encourages confidence, teamwork, and a lasting bond with nature.
